RECOVER WINDOWS LOGIN PASSWORD WITHIN MINUTES
Monday, 15 September 2008
There are many ways to login to a password protected Windows even if you do not have the password. You can reset the current password to a defined password, make your Windows accept any passwords or decrypted the current password.

By following three simple steps, over 98.5% of passwords can be recovered within less than ten minutes. This service does not overwrite passwords, it does not write anything to the hard drive, it does not alter the computer in any way. It simply reads the encrypted passwords for processing through their servers.

Currently there are 2

recovery service offered by Login Recovery. The free and priority service.

FREE SERVICE
Passwords to be decrypted are added to a queue, however due to the number of requests received, it can sometimes take up to 48 hours for a password to be decrypted. This service is provided free of charge, on the basis that you accept there may be a delay of up to two days.

PRIORITY SERVICE
Alternatively, a priority service is provided where upon payment of GBP 12.95 + VAT (approx USD 25 or EUR 19), your passwords will be placed at the front of the queue. In many cases this means that your passwords will be decrypted in less than 10 minutes.

HOW TO HACK INTO A WINDOWS XP COMPUTER WITHOUT CHANGING PASSWORD
There is a far better way to get into Windows XP. It is easy and it does not reset the password. Hack into a computer running Windows XP without changing the password and find out all and any passwords on the machine (including admin accounts). You do not need access to any accounts to do this. Of course, do not do this on anyone elses computer without proper authorisation.

Steps to Hack into a Windows XP Computer without changing password:

1. Get physical access to the machine. Remember that it must have a CD or DVD drive.
2. Download DreamPackPL HERE.
3. Unzip the downloaded dpl.zip and you’ll get dpl.ISO.
4. Use any burning program that can burn ISO images.
5. After you have the disk, boot from the CD or DVD drive. You will see Windows 2000 Setup and it will load some files.
6. Press “R” to install DreamPackPL.
7. Press “C” to install DreamPackPL by using the recovery console.
8. Select the Windows installation that is currently on the computer (Normally is “1″ if you only have one Windows installed)
9. Backup your original sfcfiles.dll by typing:
“ren C:\Windows\System32\sfcfiles.dll sfcfiles.lld” (without quotes)
10. Copy the hacked file from CD to system32 folder. Type:
“copy D:\i386\pinball.ex_ C:\Windows\System32\sfcfiles.dll” (without quotes and assuming your CD drive is D:)
11. Type “exit”, take out disk and reboot.
12. In the password field, type “dreamon” (without quotes) and DreamPack menu will appear.
13. Click the top graphic on the DreamPack menu and you will get a menu popup.

14. Go to commands and enable the options and enable the god command.

15. Type “god” in the password field to get in Windows.

You can also go to Passwords and select “Logon with wrong password and hash”. This option allows you to login with ANY password.

Note: I was unable to bring up the DreamPackPL for the first time because I have Kaspersky Anti-Virus already running in background. I believe most antivirus already labelled this tool as a Hack-Tool. A Hack-Tool is NOT a virus. DreamPackPL helps you bypass the Windows Login screen and it is not destructive.

CUSTOM VIEWS IN MS-EXCEL
Saturday, 13 September 2008

Some times we create and use big files in Excel. It becomes difficult to search for the cell we want to work on. So we cannot use Go To features. Not only this we also get confused for go to new cell, print the new cell, create the print settings and make the builders.

Can we create and go to most used cells list. Yes we can. This depends on how do you see the Excel work sheet. The custom view feature gives the solution for this. First you decide the workbook view or printing view then you can save that. This makes some changes but this is to create your favorite views and settings. If you create the print setting for particular view that also gets saved in view setting. We can save and retrieve as many cells we want in a worksheet and hide others. This saves time and energy. Ways to creating the view setting.

    1. First open your large workbook.
    2. Then go to the place you are using.
    3. Now make the changes you want. For example create print area, hide rows, filters, subtotals. Then create the view settings.
    4. Go to view menu and select the custom view there. Now open the custom view window.
    5. Press the Add button to create new view. The opened window gives the feature of decide the name of the new view. Select the view name that is used to identify easily.

You can also decide the new view print settings. After doing that give the name for view then click ok. This is a method for creating your favorite views and save these views. Now you return to the workbook and drop it there. Then you can retrieve the saved view. For that go to view menu then select custom views there. Select the wanted view in select the name of the view at the window and click show. Now you got a workbook with selected cells and settings. If you want delete the view setting go to custom views then press the delete button.

HIDE HARD DRIVE PARTITIONS IN WINDOWS
If you want to hide any partition of your hard disk just follow these simple steps.

1. Goto Start > Run and type diskpart

A DOS window will appear with following description

DISKPART>

2. Then type list volume

All partitions will be listed, there will be also a volume number for each partitions

3. Suppose you want to hide drive E:, type select volume 3 (Here 3 is the volume number of E:, in your pc it may vary). A message will now appear in the window saing "Volume 3 is the selected volume".

4. Now type remove letter E . You may have to reboot the computer. Diskpart will remove the letter. Since Windows XP doesn't have the capability to identify the unknown volume, it won't display or show results from it. To access the content of the hidden drive, repeat the process, but in the foruth step, replace remove to assign, ie., assign letter E.

GMAIL DRIVE :: STORE YOUR FILES IN GMAIL
How much of your 6 GB (and growing) Gmail mailboxx are you really using? Gmail Drive is a simple Windows shell extension that lets you sue your Gmail inbox as online storage. You simply give it your Gmail username and password and you'll find another hard drive listed under My Computer. When you upload a file, it appears as a new e-mail in your inbox. To aviod the hassle of seeing a new e-mail every ime you upload a file, you can create a filter in Gmail that archives all such mail (the subject line contains "GMAILFS").
It may not be the most extensive tool ever made, but Gmail Drive is the best way to use all that free space that Google has so generously given us all.

Download GMAIL Drive from following link:-

You can see 'Eject' On The Right Click Menu On Your CD Drive . You can eject your cd drive using that command. But there is no insert command on that menu, its nice to have an insert command also in that menu. To get that do as follows.

Here is the step-by-step procedure:

1.) Download the attached file, extract it and copy the DLL file to “%windir%\System32” folder.
2.) Run The cdeject.reg file, it’ll ask for permission. Grant it.

Attached Download:-

TWEAK:- SLOW LOGON TO DOMAIN IN XP PRO
Monday, 18 August 2008
You may experience extremely long delays (up to 5
minutes) when logging into domains using Windows XP Pro.
This is caused by the asyncronous loading of networking
during the boot up process. This speeds up the login
process in a stand-alone workstation by allowing the
user to log in with cached logon credentials before the
network is fully ready.

To disable this "feature" and restore your domain logons
to their normal speed, open the MMC and add the group
policy snap-in. Under Computer
Configuration-->Administrative
Templates-->System-->Logon, change "Always wait for the
network at computer startup and logon" to ENABLED.
This can be fed to clients via a group policy from a
Windows 2000 server by upgrading the standard policy
template with the XP policy template. Since this is an
XP only command, non-XP systems will ignore it in a
domain distributed group policy.

TWEAK:- SPEEDING UP SHARE VIEWING
When you connect to another computer with Windows XP, it
checks for any Scheduled tasks on that computer - a
fairly useless task, but one that can add up to 30
seconds of waiting on the other end - not good!
Fortunately, it’s fairly easy to disable this process.

First, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace
in the Registry. Below that, there should be a key
called {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}. Just
delete this, and after a restart, Windows will no longer
check for scheduled tasks - major performance
improvement!

TWEAK:- SYSTEM PAGES MEMORY
I'm not 100% sure if this tweak will yield a great
performance boost to the majority of users out there,
but for me it seems to have shown very good results. By
default, if you look in the
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]key,

you'll see the
'SystemPages' DWORD Value set to something around 500 MB
(more accurately, 524288 (KB), or something close to
that value). Simply reduce the value to something around
128 MB (131072 KB) or 256 MB (262144 KB). Personally,
I'm using the 128 MB setting, since my total RAM is 256
MB. It might help to experiment a little, since each
machine will most likely yield better or worse results.

TWEAK:- PROBLEMS ENABLING DMA ON IDE DRIVES
Are you experiencing jerky DivX;-) movies or does your
mp3s click and pop on your new fancy Pentium IV 3Ghz+?

Then the reason is probably that XP has set your IDE
drives into PIO mode instead of DMA! Remedy? Enter the
device manager by right clicking “my computer” and
choosing “properties” and then “hardware”.

Double click on the “IDE primary drive” and then
“advanced settings”. There you can see the current
setting for the master and the slave drives on the
primary IDE channel. There you can select transfer mode.
If it is set at “PIO only”, then select “DMA if
available” instead and reboot!

If the computer persists on having only PIO after reboot
even though the hard drive is a flashing super-duper
ATA133 and transfer mode set to “DMA if available”, then
you have to do the following:

Remove the primary device in the device manager and
reboot! Voilà, now the harddrive should be running in
DMA mode.

Repeat on the secondary IDE channel if necessary.
Now enjoy your smooth running DivX;-) and mp3s and the
overall increased performance of your computer!

TWEAK:- OPTIMISE NTFS
NTFS is a great filesystem, but its feature-set comes at
a slight cost in performance. You can negate this a
little with the following tips:

* By default NTFS will automatically update timestamps
whenver a directory is traversed. This isn't a necessary
feature, and it slows down large volumes.

Disable it by pointing regedit to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem
and set 'DisableNTFSLastAccessUpdate' to 1.

* NTFS uses disparate master file control tables to
store filesystem information about your drives. Over
time these core MFT files grow and become fragmented,
slowing down all accesses to the drive. By setting aside
a little space, MFT's can grow without becoming
fragmented. In the same key where you disabled the last
access feature creat a new DWORD value called
'NtfsMftZoneReservation' and set it to 2.

TWEAK:- NO MORE LOW DISK SPACE MESSAGE
Go into registry with REGEDIT.EXE,
go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\and (if not already there) add DWORD (without quotes)
"NoLowDiskSpaceChecks" and change the value to 1.

Restart now.

TWEAK:- NETWORK INTERFACE CARD MEMORY
1. Right Click on My Comp.
2. Then Properties
3. Device Manager or Hardware
4. View Resources by connection
5. Find the number IRQ of your NIC that uses the
internet. (NIC meaning Network Interface Card). REMEMBER
THAT NUMBER!!!
6. Then Click Run
7. Type Sysedit in the box and return
8. 4 or 5 boxes will appear, highlight the system.ini box
9. Under the [386enh] add the following exactly..
10. Irq[n]=4096, where "[n]" is the number irq of your
network card. 4096 is the recommended ram to reserve in kilobytes.
11. So it will look something like this Irq10=4096.
12. Save changes in the file and reboot for effect...

This tweak was from the help of www.speedguide.net. Some
people with a cpu of over 500MHz had an increase of only
up to 10%. Therefore it is a controversial tweak thats
talked about. Hence, most likely they would be online
gamers.

Be sure NOT to overdue the amount of ram because it will
have little or no effect at all. Most of you probably
won't notice much effect anyway but it's worth a try.
This tweak is assumingly okay for all Windows users.
Afterward, go to www.dslreports.com to test your
internet throughput and see what they recommend to
change your RWIN. (It's under the link of dslrtools on thier homepage).

System CMOS/real time clock, which improves performance
across the board go to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl in the right hand pane create a new DWORD
name it IRQ8Priority double click it and and put a 1
in the decimal box
will look like this >
IRQ8Priority REG_DWORD 0x00000001 (1)

Reboot for it to take affect .

1.DisablePagingExecutive -double click it and in the
decimal put a 1 - this allows XP to keep data in memory
now instead of paging sections of ram to harddrive
yeilds faster performance.

2.LargeSystemCache- double click it and change the
decimal to 1 -this allows XP Kernal to Run in memory
improves system performance alot .

3.create a new dword and name it IOPageLockLimit -
double click it and set the value in hex - 4000 if you
have 128MB of ram or set it to 10000 if you have 256MB
set it to 40000 if you have more than 512MB of ram -this
tweak will speed up your disck cache.

TWEAK:- A WAY TO CLEAR PREFETCH ON SHUTDOWN
In reading the other tweaks for "automatically" deleting the prefetch files (which, by the way, decreases your startup time drastically) and finding out that they were NOT AUTOMATIC at all, I was forced to find a truly automatic way to delete these files. The other tweaks weren't automatic because you had to run a file every time you wanted to do this. Also, running it once won't help because every time you run an app on your computer, it puts more files into the prefetch folder, so we needed something to delete the files when shutting down or restarting. Well, here it is:

1. create a new text file in the C:\ directory
2. type "del c:\windows\prefetch\*.* /q" (without he quotes)
3. save the file as "prefetch.bat"
4. From the Start menu, select "Run:
5. Type in "gpedit.msc"
6. In the window that appears, under the "computer configuration" heading, expand "windows settings"
7. under "windows settings", select "Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)"
8. double click "shutdown" from the right window
9. click "add"
10. click browse and locate your "prefetch.bat" file
11. click "open"
12. click "OK"
13. click apply or OK to finalize this process.

Now you are done. every time you shut down or restart your computer, it will run your shutdown script to delete the prefetch files.

TWEAK:- BOOT XP FASTER
First of all, this tweak only apply to those who only
have one HDD on their primary IDE channel (nothing else
on device 0 or 1) and a CD-ROM and/or DVD-ROM on the
secondary IDE channel. Each time you boot Windows XP,
there's an updated file called NTOSBOOT-*.pf who appears
in your prefetch directory (%SystemRoot%\Prefetch) and
there's no need to erease any other files as the new
prefetch option in XP really improves loading time of
installed programs. We only want WindowsXP to boot
faster and not decrease its performance. Thanks to Rod
Cahoon (for the prefetch automation process...with a
minor change of mine) and Zeb for the IDE Channel tweak
as those two tricks, coupled together with a little
modification, result in an EXTREMELY fast bootup:

1. Open notepad.exe, type "del
c:\windows\prefetch\ntosboot-*.* /q" (without the
quotes) & save as "ntosboot.bat" in c:\
2. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type
"gpedit.msc".
3. Double click "Windows Settings" under "Computer
Configuration" and double click again on "Shutdown" in
the right window.
4. In the new window, click "add", "Browse", locate your
"ntosboot.bat" file & click "Open".
5. Click "OK", "Apply" & "OK" once again to exit.
6. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type
"devmgmt.msc".
7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select
"Properties".
9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device
0 or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' greyed out select
'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".
10. Right click on "Secondary IDE channel", select
"Properties" and repeat step 9.
11. Reboot your computer.

WindowsXP should now boot REALLY faster.

TWEAK:- DISABLE INDEXING SERVICES
Indexing services is a small program that hogs HUGE
amounts of RAM and can often make a computer endlessly
loud and noisy. This system process indexing and
updates lists of the files on your system, so you can
search for them quickly, but it's completley unnessesary.

To disable it, go to the Control Panel and click
Add/Remove Programs. Click the Add/Remove Window
Components. Simply unclick the Indexing services and
click next!

TWEAK:- DISABLE UNNECESSARY SERVICES TO FREE TEXT DOCUMENT
Services are programs that run when the computer starts
up and continue to run as they aid the operating system
in functionality. There are many services that load and
are not needed which take up memory space and CPU time.
Disabling these services will free up system resources
which will speed up your overall computer experience. I
recommend that you sort through the list and read the
descriptions to decide if you need that service
depending on what you want to do with your computer.
Remember, you can always turn the service back on if you
find that you need it in the future. Below is the
procedure to turn off a service.
  1. Click the start button.
  2. Select run from the bottom of the right column.
  3. Then type services.msc in the box and click ok.
  4. Once the services window has loaded we are ready to turn off unneeded services.
  5. For instructional purposes we are going to turn off the Portable Media Serial Number service.
  6. Find this service in the list and select it with the mouse.
  7. Right click and select Properties.
  8. Once the properties windows has loaded locate the
  9. Start up type drop down box and select disable.
  10. Then just click ok and the next time the computer starts the service will not be loaded.

TWEAK:- DISABLING AUTOMATIC UPDATES PROPERLY
A lot of people already know about Automatic Updates and
how to disable them by selecting the appropriate option
from within the Automatic Updates tab in My Computer. A
lot of you might not realise this, but the Automatic
Update service still runs even when you select to
disable it here. To turn it off completely and for good
do as follows:
1. Go into Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
2. Highlight the service called "Automatic Updates".
You will know when you have the correct one because you
will see a description about it telling you what it does.
3. Right click once highlighted and click stop to
terminate the service.
4. Right click on it again and go to Properties. Half
way down the first tab there is "Startup Type:" change this to disabled.

Congratulations.
You have now disabled Automatic Updates service. Not only will this make certain service won't run, but by disabling it properly you are freeing up system resources as they won't be diverted to running a service that you don't use.

TWEAK:-GETTING MORE PROCESSING POWER
GETTING MORE PROCESSING POWER

"In the Run box, type "Rundll32.exe
advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks". This frees up any idle tasks running in the background so that Windows XP can devote its full attention to what you want it to do. For example playing graphic intensive games."While it does free up idle tasks, according to Microsoft, it can take up to 15 minutes to do so. You would not want to run this task before playing a game or using your machine as it will actually cause any tasks waiting for the system to become idle to be performed immediately.

TO HIDE TASKBAR ICONS
PROBLEM:-I want to hide taskbar icons which is active... i did right click on taskbar then properties, then click on customize button then set always hide ... but on next boot icon shows in taskbar... i want to hide it always so that user cant see those icons..How can we do it?

TRICK:-

Normally, Windows XP will show notification icons on the taskbar when it needs to get your attention for a variety of reasons, such as low disk space, too many icons on the desktop, etc. If you find these notifications annoying, however, you can hide them:-

At first, download the following software:-http://microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

1. Then run Tweak UI for Windows XP.
2. When the "Tweak UI" window appears, click "Taskbar and Start menu".
3. Uncheck "Show taskbar notification icons".
4. When done, click "OK" to close the dialog box.

USE OF PREFETCH FOLDER IN XP
PROBLEM:-What is Use of prefetch folder in Xp?I read some where that if we delete the contain in prefetch folder login & log-out process get boost it became fast. Is this true?
EXPLANATION:-
Prefetch folder contains .pft files which contain the execution segment addresses of many recently and most commonly executed applications in the main memory and on Hard Drive as well for faster excess to those applications..nothing in Windows XP is without any purpose..that folder has a valid purpose and that is to speed up the execution of most commonly used applications..if you delete it,it may boot the computer faster only a bit as windows will not know any longer that which applications it should prefetch as there would be no hint available..and as a result, you'll have to pay the penalty here instead of windows startup...as the minimal windows booting time will be compensated by the slow initial execution of your commonly used applications...and even if you delete this folder,it will be recreated automatically in SP2 and SP3 systems as it is necessary for good performance..however you can delete it to save a couple of seconds while booting and then you'll have to wait for much longer than 2 seconds while starting your commonly used applications..I would suggest that let it remain as it is i.e.
